From the snow to the valley

01 · Source

One photo of your plate and you're done.

Logging meals used to mean weighing ingredients and searching for brands. With Maipo you take a photo of your plate and an artificial intelligence estimates the calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat.

  • You have the final word: adjust any number before saving.
  • Zero guilt: it tells you what happened, never scolds you.
The log-a-meal screen in Maipo: take a photo, pick one from the gallery or type what you ate.

02 · Flow

Set by set, pound by pound.

You get to the gym and tap “Start training”. Maipo shows each exercise with its weight, takes you set by set and lets you know when your rest is over, even with the phone locked.

  • It knows when it's time to add weight, based on what you did last time.
  • Your weekly plan is built from what you've already done and what your body can take.

03 · Valley

A map of your body and a straight-to-the-point summary.

Every day, a summary of what you did in plain words. And a map of your 14 muscle groups that shows, in colors, which one is ready to train today and which needs rest.

  • It compares you with yourself, with your own history, not with generic tables.
  • If a number isn't clear, it's explained in the same sentence.

The river

I grew up near the Maipo river. It comes down from the Andes with snowmelt and never stops: strength in motion.

This app began as a tool for me: logging my workouts and my meals, and understanding my data without strange words.

Today Maipo is for anyone who wants to train better. No noise, no guilt, with consistency.

Common questions

Do I need a sports watch?
No. Everything works from your phone: you log your sets, your meals and your weight, and the live trainer guides you.
How does it calculate food from a photo?
You take a photo of your plate and an artificial intelligence estimates the ingredients, the portions and the nutrients. You have the final word: you can adjust any number before saving.
How do I get in?
You request an invitation with your email. I review every request and reply with an invitation word to create your account.
How much does it cost?
For now, joining by invitation is free. If a paid plan comes later, we'll tell you first and you'll never be charged without accepting.
What do you do with my data and my photos?
Your data is yours: we don't sell it and there are no ads. To analyze your data and your photos we use artificial intelligence, which receives only what each analysis needs. You can download everything you logged and delete your account whenever you want.
Is this medical advice?
No. Maipo is a training and nutrition app: it doesn't give medical advice and doesn't replace a health professional.
